Hi, I agree that diet is pretty important in controlling this thing. And which diet works best turns out pretty personal as different people are different. Also agree with coolaide that Low Carb is not No Carb. And if you are low carbing you should be careful about fat content and be sure to eat enough appropriate veges to get fibre. For me what works best is cutting out all the refined carbs like white bread, white flour products, white rice, foods with high added sugar, white potatoes. I still eat lots of veges, unprocessed carbs, and reasonable amounts of fruits, though I go for those with less sugar. This, along with glucophage, is working fine and is reasonably sustainable. I don't believe that No carb is sustainable except very short term. Low carbing is a lifestyle thing.... and you need to learn to listen to your body - what makes you feel good and what doesn't.....

Best Wishes
