Hi Keri...you have been given some good advice here, but I will, as usual, put my two cents worth in ! When someone says a 'low carb' diet, it is a lifestyle change. It is not a diet per say. And..the big thing to remember is LOW carb not NO carb. We do need some carbs. I don't know if you listen to the radio, but Dr.Mirkin is wonderful. He doesn't preach low carb/no carb, but his and his wife, their lifestlye is healthy. Check out his website and try to find his radio show on the a.m. dial. Hope this helps some. I personally have done both, no and low carb. Right now....I just use my head and try to eat to feel good, not just to lose weight. Take care.
