Barbra, this is something I've been thinking about for a while... do you think maybe your panic attacks and anxiety are actually related to your heart abnormalities? A lot of people describe panic attacks as being sudden, overwhelming feelings for seemingly no reason, increased heart rate and that "pain" you get from a serious shot of adrenaline released into your system. Shaky, short of breath, etc. These are all symptoms of heart trouble, and someone who has diagnosed heart trouble in the past like you may be having "false" panic attacks... attacks that are actually related to the heart's trouble and not a mental issue at all. Of course I don't know if this will jive with you but, I think about this a lot. I wonder if all the anxiety and stress-related physical symptoms my mom has complained of all her life aren't due to low or high sugar levels and/or heart trouble "faking" out the symptoms of anxiety. I know that often times if you go to the hospital with these symptoms they'll tell you there's nothing wrong and you're just having a panic attack. But what if they're wrong...? What if it's undetectable as a physical abnormality? What if your body just releases the wrong chemicals at certain times and sends your system into panic? Then you get told it's all in your head. Yeah right! Ok enough rambling... I think I wrote enough to get what I was thinking out. Later!
