There was a comic once in the paper called "Maude" or something. (Not sure... I don't read it.) That week "Maude" and her husband were shopping for swim apparel, and the first panel had "Maude" holding up a slinky bikini. Her husband was saying "Go try that on!" and she was saying "It'll make me look like a cow!" Her husband convinced her anyway and she went into to try it on. When she came out, she was round as an apple and saying "SEE!" but her husband's eyes had gotten ten times bigger and he was jumping up with hearts all around his head and saying, "SEE!"

I got to see that comic because my husband brought it to me one day looking very smug and wearing this tremendously self-satisifed "I TOLD YOU SO" face... he said, "SEE! That's how I feel!"
