Hi guys, as some of you may know, i am not *insulin resistant* by doctor's or test standards. after many years of no periods and bcp horror stories, i finally started glucophage 3 months ago (after not being on anything for about 4 months). for the first two months, i spotted for a few days each month, which in itself was kind of exciting. but this month, i got a REAL PERIOD!! this is, like, the first real period i've ever gotten in my life and i am SO excited. SO, i just wanted to tell all of you people like me (who have *normal* hormone levels and *normal* insulin levels) to give it a try! don't let the doctor's tell you otherwise! glucophage was tough to get used to, but now i'm doing fine and fell like i'm starting to get on track with all of this stuff. i know there's a long road ahead, but small victories help. really, i'm giddy.
