I never had side effects from the glucophage, or atleast I don't think so. I joined LA Weightloss soon after starting it and lost a lot of the weight pretty quickly. So I think that took away any side effects, Im not sure.

The pain started about a year and a half ago a few months before i started the glucophage, it was a sharp shooting pain in my lower right abdomen or pelvic area ( i wasn't sure)that lasted about 2 weeks. My doctors thought it was appendicitis and did a sonogram. They eventually said it was nothing, I hadn't been diagnosed with PCOS yet so I didn't even know to ask them to look at my ovaries. The pain returns every month about 1- 2 weeks before my period is supposed to start. The pain stops about when I start the iron pills of my BC pack.

It hurts when I sit or lay down the most. When I am standing it just feels like my side (front to back) is swollen, and there's just a lot of discomfort. When I lay down there is a dull aching pain centralized in my upper right pelvic area. it's a little above my right hip and a few inches below and to the right of my navel. The pain radiates to my lower back and down my right leg. I can't sleep on my right side or my back at all when the pain is there. I have a large cyst in my breast and the pain feels exactly the same at about the same time.

I feel it most at night because I'm laying down. Thank you for asking, I'm sorry they took so long to treat you, why did they do that?
