ConfusedFrom: Tanya (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 31 Dec 2001 08:44:15 -0600 (CST)
I took Birth Control pills for one month (june) and stopped because I was taking 4 one day, 3 the next and so fourth. My periods for july-sept came for only two days and then in October it begain to come back normal (4 full days). In Sept, I went to the doctor to make sure everything was okay she took my lh/fsh level which was 2/7 and then said that I might have pcos. I went back to my regular gyn who told me that I dont have PCOS and the the abormal periods was a result of the pills I am now worried because I dont know which one is correct. I get crazy mood swings, and up and down weight. My question is can the doctors be wrong and if it is hormone related can something else besides Birth Contol Pills correct it? I just started taking vitimins for the first time that have a lot of herbs and minerals are these safe too?
