Since we each respond differently to things, it may be best for you to do a search on diets on this board. It seems that a lower than normal carb level is best for us because of an insulin problem that seems to be at the root of PCOS.

Each of us can have other problems in addition to PCOS that may cause one exercise program to be more beneficial than another. There is everything from yoga to The Firm workouts that have their place depending on your health status. The main thing is lots of water and movement throughout the day.

It is unusual that you were diagnosed by a family practitioner. Most women have to see an endocrinologist. A few people (like me) were diagnosed by a GYN. If you are happy with your treatment, continue seeing your GP. At some point, you may want to see an endocrinologist since they specialize in insulin problems.
