Hey Sonnet...I have heard the adoption road is quite slow. Chad and I have met a friend of a friend who just adopted a little one, and they are showing us the ropes..so to say. The went through a Christian agency and when I talked to the agency I had to dodge the lightening bolts already. We are both Catholic, but not....to say it nicely.... holy rollers. These people are holy rollers. We would have to send in a min. 35 page esssay on how Jesus has affected our lives. I just can't do it. The birth mothers who go to this agency actually pick out the couple they want to raise their child. I would feel like I was lying. The numbers are so excellent though. Last year they had 34 couples and 20 babies. You just don't find that everywhere. Oh well...we'll keep on looking, we won't give up so easily. Christmas was alright. I've never been a big fan. Too much phonie stuff going on. I hate the comments, 'when are you two going to have kids' 'we need some young kids right Bon and Chad' 'come on you two, aren't you doing it right'. It's just hard. Next year I am going to make a button to wear that says...' yes, we want kids'. ha ha I am off until the 7th. Hope you all don't get sick of me !! Talk soon...Bonnie
