Re: Lis - is that you?From: Lis (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 24 Dec 2001 04:18:38 -0600 (CST)
Actually, I'm going to change my mind and say I'm not doing so well. I started Met about a month before the surgery without too much trouble with side effects. Since the surgery, I haven't tolerated the Met nearly so well. At first it wasn't too bad, and I was hoping things would improve, but they seem to be getting worse at the moment - cramps, and rushing off to the loo several times per day. I understand that there can be some GI trouble after gallbladder removal - due to the continual flow of bile direct into the gut causing irritation??? I think that this combined with the Met is the source of the trouble. I think I will take a short break from the Met, let my insides calm down, and then start again with a low dose and build up from there. What trouble did you have Tracy?
