Hi Teresa-
I am sorry to hear about your headaches. I too had terrible migraines and
cluster headaches which started at puberty. I did get some relief with
Advil or Fiorinal. After I was diagnosed with PCOS and started taking
Metformin, the headaches disappeared. It took about six months after the
medication was started.
I think the headaches are caused by fluctuating blood sugar levels. There
is certainly a lot of screwed up chemistry involved with PCOS. All I know
now is that when I have a headache, it is very minor and manageable.
Good luck! I hope you find relief.
Genny
