Re: analyzing the signs!!!!!From: Sonnet (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 21 Dec 2001 15:35:00 -0600 (CST)
I would think that several of those doctors are important to your health... like having an obgyn for annuals, paps, etc.; a family practitioner in case you break your leg or whatever; and I find several other medical professionals to be very helpful as well - I always try to have a nutritionist and counselor 'on staff' as well! But for specifically treating PCOS, or for helping you figure out the metabolic problems that could be going on in your body, your best bet is an endocrinologist. They specialize in all of that hormonal stuff that is going on in your body and are usually well versed in how to treat you when things go wrong. Hope you find a good doctor and get some answers!
