Hi,

I don't think headaches are a direct symptom of PCOS but they can be brought on by a symptom of PCOS such as hormone imbalance.

I have had constant headaches in the past myself. It is definitely the PITS!!! After my bout with constant headaches I am now VERY prone to migraines which again is the pits LOL. Here's what causes my headaches:

White flour (a BIG trigger), good amount of carbs, nuts (I LOVE nuts and these are my #1 trigger right now, started recently), sometimes caffeine.

My 'constant' headache was caused by white flour and high carb food. Once I found out that I was insulin resistant I cut the flour and a good portion of carbs out and poof my headaches went away.

My insulin levels are now under good control. If I eat a lot of carbs / white flour I will be VERY tired and have a headache. I can once in a while eat something with white flour without it being a big ordeal. I try to stick to wheat flour most of the time. Nuts, I love nuts. I avoid them though unless I have 2 days to spend laid up with a horrible headache.

I would suggest eating very basic meals (meat, veggies, no caffeine) and slowly add things back in so you can see if it's a food item triggering your headaches. If not, then it may be from hormones which isn't nearly as easy to fix as the food thing.

Good luck!
