Hi everyone: I am trying to process all the information I have read here. I got to this page looking for answers....I was reading an online article on obesity, while cross referencing on the obesity drugs that I am taking. I had had problems with weight...my BMI is 35 which is considered obese...I am still waiting for my tyroid blood work...I have been seriously about dieting and excersicing for the past six months, but I was running into trouble...I was gaining muscle and shrinking, but not much fat reduction...mmmm? Then I read the obesity article and said PCOS is a contributor to obesity. Then I got to this site...and I am thinking maybe I have PCOS. I have the irregular periods and hair problems....and man can I store fat...and cannot get rid of it... :( now that all of these is in my mind....can anyone tell me which doctor will help me...GYNO, Endocrinologist, family practician...I am not sure where to go? I will appreciate any input... Thanks, Adriana
