You're losing your hair? Hair loss is a symptom of PCOS?? I thought it was hair growth that was a symptom.

I'm tired all the time too, my husband thinks it's because I'm overweight but I'm not _that_ overweight! My doctor just tentatively diagnosed me with a thyroid problem as well, and I'm freaking out a little bit because I have a cousin with thyroid problems and she weighs over 350! I don't want to get that big. she's losing weight now that she's on medication too, she lost 25 lbs in the first month and a half.

One of my sisters has a thyroid problem too, again after a hysterectomy to remove scar tissue (from having 4 kids). She was only about 180, which isn't really bad at 5'9", but she's finding it easy to lose weight now too. I have hope!!
