Hi!
Well, praise God! I bet it was such a "relief" for you to get your
diagnosis after suffering for so long! I am so excited that you found a
doctor that did not tell you that your weight is your fault and that if
you'd just lose it then all would be cured! Many PCOS women have been
told that only to lose that weight and then still suffer the same
symptoms of PCOS.
I am so happy for you and I'm so excited that you were able to share
your story with all of us. I hope that you will have a peace. You have
good advice with finding the diet/medication combo that works. Your
doctor seems to really be taking a total and aggressive approach wanting
to help with the symptoms as well as the underlying problem. I applaud
him for that and for his gentle spirit. It sounds as though it was hard
for you to even go to that appointment and he made it "easy" for you.
Good for him. From a woman who also needs to lose weight you give me
hope too. Thanks and God bless you on your journey to a healthier you
and may you ultimately be healed by the Lord. Tera
