Previous message: Kate: "testerone" I've just been told by my GP that I have polycystic ovaries - I don't think he mentioned PCOS, but having been alarmed I may not have heard this. This was diagnosed by a blood test. I went to visit the doctor because I haven't had a period for 14 months - I had put this down to the fact that I am still nursing (morning and evening) my now toddler. I'm not overweight, the only excess facial hair is on top lip and chin (coarse hair) and a couple of hairs around my belly button. At the end of my pregnancy I did develop potential Hellp syndrome (problems with liver functions) has anyone else had a similar experience ? did it affect their fertility ?
