Glucophage is NOT generic

Glucophage is not generic. I pay 'brand name' price for it through my insurance company. The Glucophage company has been resisting allowing a generic version on Glucophage. As of now, there is no generic version. Since it will come eventually, they have been pushing their Glucophage 1500 RX version, so people will ask their doc for that, and that won't be up for generic use for years. That way they make the profit. Dawn
