Hi there! I have endometriosis and pcos and had a laparoscopy last Friday 7th December. At the same time it was recommended by a top endo and pcos specialist that I consider it ovarian drilling to enhance the chances of pregnancy. I do not regret this and with all the complications that come with these diseases/syndromes, heck why not!! The chances of ovarian failure are very small, it may be more an association with adhesion formation that people may be warning you off. However adhesian formation is dependent upon where they drill the holes as if there's nothing to stick to adhesions can't grow. I am hoping to become pregnant. I have regular periods etc which apparently is quite rare for women with PCOS so will be interesting to see. If you would like to keep in touch about these issues, just email me at email address. take care
