Hi Angela again! Good to see you.

I don't really suffer from excess hair either. I have every other PCOS symptom, and I have some chin and jawline hairs that get long taht I pluck or shave. But just some! I consider myself VERY lucky in this respect. Partly I think that's genetics (just a hairless people, my family!) and partly it's this syndrome - not everyone gets all of the symptoms. That's the definition of a syndrome.

I get the impression, from the reading I do, however, that the hair is probably coming. I'm only 25 now, maybe when I'm 35 I will have hair all over, who knows. I'm so definitely NOT looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll have found the right combination of medication and diet that works really well for me by that time and can avoid it!

As for the 'pubic acne,' yeah, I think most of us get those too. Also common in armpits and even under the breasts. Aren't they horrible? I remember reading one post a long time ago from a girl who had one the size of an orange, I've never forgotten that. The best advice we seem to find on those is to apply hot compresses and have them lanced by a dermatologist if they get too big. Personally I've never ben brave enough to make an appointment with a dermatologist, walk in, and take my pants off. :)
