Hi Kerri,
The first thing you will find on this forum is that many drs are not
familiare with pcos and don't diagnose it, even with overwhelming
evdience otherwise. Many women here went through a number of doctors to
find one that would help. My obe said I could not possibly have PCOS
(despite classic symptoms)and my telling her I thought I had it. Then I
went to see an endocrinologist and she diagnosed me as classic using the
same test and history that the obe said was not evidence.
Please try to find yourself a more sympathetic dr. Metformin is
probably better to try before clomid. You could look up both on this
forum and on the home page.
Please be aggressive for your health and well-being.
