Does anyone understand?

Hi, I have been diagnosed now with PCOS for about eight months after two and a half years of trying for our much wanted baby. It was hard to take though I prevailed and remained as positive as I could. However, after six months of being on clomiphene to help stimulate my ovaries I was rushed to hospital due to my ovaries going into hyperstimulation and two of the cysts becoming enlarged. Whilst at hospital they carried out a laparoscopy - I wasnt prepared for the outcome. My consulatant has advised me that I have severe endrometreosis and that both my right tube and ovary are completly diseased and my chances of becoming pregnant on my own is very slim, he made an appointment to see me in January to discuss IVF - this bombshell landed on me last Wednesday.

Sometimes I think that the news hasnt registered with me yet and then other times I am filled with all sorts of different emotions.

At the moment I am really scared of what's round the corner for us - I cant imagine my life without being a mum as since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a mummy.

My family do their best to talk to me about it but they dont understand what I am going through - none of them have had to face it. To be honest I dont want to talk to them about it as I dont want to make them upset because I know they are going through it too.

Has anyone out there been through or is going through what I am going through - I feel very alone.
