Re: Anyone with semi-regular periods?

My periods range from 31-39 days usually, sometimes a little longer and I have PCOS and IR. Bloodwork confirmed it for me, along with an ultrasound. I would definitely suggest finding a reproductive endocrinologist. My obgyn, even with looking at all my bloodwork results, still said she would not think of me as a PCOS case and that if she wasn't looking at the numbers herself she wouldn't diagnose me. She admitted she just didn't know enough about it. I then went to see an endocrinologist and got my diagnosis. My obgyn is still amazed that I have PCOS and calls to check on me from time to time to see how I am and always tells me that I've opened her eyes to the possibility that no matter how unlikely, PCOS may be still be a possibility for many women.

I wish you lots of luck on your quest - so many of us have been there with the docs that don't seem to think we have it but we know in our guts that we do. Hope you get some answers and treatment soon!

Take care, Tracy
