With you past lab values, you probably did not need additional testing.

The diagnosis of PCOS itself indicates that you may benefit from Glucophage/metformin. The research on Glucophage that is most promising, was done on anovulatory women, other factors such as other blood values.

Now that you know what it is, you can get on with the treatment. It is a much better feeling!
