J.D.,

I know what it's like not having health insurance, have you looked into whether your state requires that companies sell individual plans? I did that for a time at one point a few years ago.

I cannot believe it would cost so much for blood tests. I've heard of people using this site to get the blood tests they want done: http://www.healthcheckusa.com/ you might want to check it out.

Don't you find that the Sam-e keeps you up when you take it at night?

I increased faster than what you're proposing. I really doubt it would interfer because it acts on a different system. But you never can tell for sure.

I hope you can get some blood work done soon, do check your thyroid. I was non-responsive to anti-depressants, my doctor said get your thyroid checked, and I did and it kept coming back "high normal" now I know that that "high normal" was out of range.

I wish I could offer more help. Hope you feel better soon
