I hope it helps with your project. 1)I haven't been diagnosed yet, but I have most of the classic symptoms. I am 26 now and am TTC. Trying to get the Dr. to test. Have been pushing for months. She will make a "presumptive" diagnosis, but nothing definite. 2) I should have been diagnosed at 18. I had cysts and hirsutism at that point and very erratic periods. 3) I started showing signs of PCOS at 14 or 15. I was teased about the hair on my face and arms in middle school. 4) I think that the info. would definitely have helped. I would have started to research and find out more about PCOS at that point and maybe have felt better about myself. I hope this helps and is what you were looking for.
