Re: yeah, I dont have IR To TiffanyFrom: cw (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 29 Nov 2001 18:38:12 -0600 (CST)
Hi Tiffany...I asked you these questions, because you could still be IR. Maybe. My first 2 blood tests came out "normal", and the doctors said I was not IR, but I had all the symptoms of IR. (Symptoms for me were pcos, high cholesterol and triglycerides, fatigue, dizziness, low toleration to carbs, shakiness, headaches, etc.) Finally, I got smart and carb loaded the day and night before my morning fasting test, and then the IR showed up. My insulin level was high. I was so happy because finally I could get the medication I needed so I could feel better and normal for the first time in 20 years! You might want to do a little research and get tested one more time the right way just to be sure. After that, if you aren't IR, all I can say is "lucky you", I wouldn't wish it on anybody! :o) Good luck.
