Hi Jen,

I, too just found out 2 months ago that I am IR and have PCOS. I am 29 years old. I began taking Glucophage XR just 3 1/2 weeks ago. I just worked up to the 1500mg dosage this week. The first week I had severe cramping and even had a period (even though it was MUCH heavier than my regular period, which I had just had the week before). But that passed after one week, for me. I found that taking the met with my meal made a HUGE difference. So that may be helpful.

My husband and I have also been trying to concieve. My endo said that we should see some "progress" within 3-6 months. I'll keep you posted. Best of luck!
