Good for you, taking the met plunge! However... your endo only gave you 250mg to start with?????? that's ridiculously low! I doubt you'll see any results on that - maybe not even side effects! - and halving it would be even more futile...

did you perhaps mean to type 2500??? if so, half of that to start should be good.

ps - don't worry about met messing you up like the ortho tri-cyclen! in most cases, it only does good. in the worst cases... it generally just has no effect whatsoever. (there are reports of severe side effects but these are exceedingly rare... just don't get dehydrated and you should be OK...)
