Dizzy spellsFrom: Rhonda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 28 Nov 2001 15:08:21 -0600 (CST)
I just read the posts about dizziness. Do you all think it is related to PCOS? I have had severe dizziness. I have gone to the emergency room twice. It was so nauseating. I couldn't take care of my kids. I had to get a shot of demoral (sp?). It was always on the first day of my period. It would go away after 24 hours. Now, I have had a hysterectomy and I have periods of dizziness still. In fact, I just made an appointment to go to doctor to see if it is an ear infection because it just won't go away. My ears don't hurt though. The room spins at times, I run into things, and wobble. It comes and goes. I haven't thought about charting it out because I have noticed my body still is cyclical even though I don't have a period. I go from having fluid retention to not and then from being constipated to not! I gain 5 lbs. and then lose it every month. I am still waiting to repeat that 24 hour urine test for the cortisol levels. I have to have 24 hours that I am home straight!!! Lately, that is hard to do. I would appreciate any thoughts!! Thanks, Rhonda
