Possibley arond 25, but defintily by 28

>>3) How old were you when you first started showing any signs of PCOS?

Not sure (I just thought all these symptoms were normal), but symptoms very much worse as I got older, particuarly the last 2-3 years before I got diagnosed (Finally - after more thana year of tyring to find out what was wrong).

Yes as I wouldhave been aware of what was actually normal and what wasnot. I think this is very important foradolescent girls. My little sister never got her period - she was only diagnosed (with blood tests and ultrasound) at 22 when she got married - but something could /should have been picked up years earlier - and was told to take BCP (and isn't it nice that she doesnt have to worry about the monthly curse! grrrr!) . She didn't want to take BCP and so did nothing - mind you she is not being treated or monitored - as her last obgyne told her she had no evidence of PCOS - though how you could know that without any testing or examination I don't know). I have yet to discuss this with her further - when I am next in Australia.
