Meaghan, In answer to your questions, I think it would be great for PCOS to be talked about in school! I was one of the lucky people, I was diagnosed when I was 18 years old. I started having symptoms when I was around 11 or 12 but I had no idea that they were part of a disease. What I mean is that all of a sudden I started to gain weight at around puberty when I had always been thin and I was eating the same foods. It was really confusing! I think PCOS information should be available at schools, maybe some other girl wouldn't have to go through as much confusion. I hope this answered your questions!
