My doc. at least thinks the time release coating to be of little value.
She has found that her diabetic patients need to take it in multiple
doses and she prescribed it to me that way as well. The time release
coating, according to her, was a way for the company to deal with the
fact that the medication is off patent.
It sure is a lot easier to tolerate than regular glucophage.
