Rebecca,

I was surprised that my doc said I couldn't take it 3x a day because she previously told me that she didn't believe the time released coating made any difference in the medication, that it was just added because the patent on the medication had expired. Apparently your doc doesn't believe in the time release coating at all if he's prescribing 4x a day.

But we are all different, so maybe that's why our meds were prescribed differently, or perhaps it's just the doctors -- can you tell me what your fasting insulin levels were?

Mine wasn't that high just 12.9, I did feel better on 500mg pretty quickly, and even better on 1000mg, I asked for 1500 because I keep reading that's the level to take for PCOS.
