It is reassuring to know I am not the only one going through this, but why are the doctors so ineffectual? I had a D&C in August 2001 because I had been bleeding for 3 months. I had a period at the beginning of October which lasted 7 days, wasn't particularly heavy and not very painful - hoorah! I thought, it's worked. 4 days later I started bleeding again and as I write (19 November 2001) I am still bleeding. I went back to my GP and he said he was running out of options. He prescribed me with Dianet (?) saying it would stop my body producing too much testosterone, but I don't want to take it. I was on the pill for 8 years, I was prescribed it when I was 17 because I was having heavy periods!

I am so fed up I feel like crying all the time. I am so worn out. I do all I can to alleviate the symptoms. I work out with a pesonal trainer, go swimming, eat vegetarian food - so why am I still ill?

Has anyone out there been successfully treated?
