I live in england and it is quite hush hush over here. most of my mothers side of the family have pco and on my fathers side there is heart diease, high colestrol and endomitriitus. I was put on the pill about 3 years ago before i knew i had pco, i tried 3 types of pill mycrogynon,i had severe depression so had to be taken off, another pill i was taken off so quikly taken off i cant remember the name gave me extreme nausea so much so i was taken off and then i was put on celeste wich gave me depression, extreme nausea, lack of libedo, thick head etc and i am still recovering now after two years.my periods stopped for 1 year and they are only just becoming slighty regular. i was told after a number of blood tests i had pco and that they could do nothing for me until i want to get pregnant . i have heard that the pill can aggrevate pco, so why was i not asked if there was a history of pco in my family before i was precribed the pill.I was never told about the increased chance of heart disease or diabetes by my gyno i was just told to watch my weight and as have been 8 st since i have been 12(now 20) that was really stupid advice.has anyone else had the same problems and havent the drug companies thought of putting a warning on the packet if this keeps reaccuring.
