I only have the symptoms of excess facial hair and nothing else that goes along with polycystic ovary disease. Therefore, I don't think I have Polycystic ovary disease. I am curious about Spironolacton (Aldactone) because of the results some have had with hair reduction. Is this medicine safe to go on just for facial/body hair reduction. Are there any unsafe side effects? I was also wondering if you have to stay on this permanetly for the hair to stay away or if it is temporary. About how much does it cost?
