Facial Hair Only?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 18 Nov 2001 20:22:48 -0600 (CST)
I only have the symptoms of excess facial hair and nothing else that goes along with polycystic ovary disease. Therefore, I don't think I have Polycystic ovary disease. I am curious about Spironolacton (Aldactone) because of the results some have had with hair reduction. Is this medicine safe to go on just for facial/body hair reduction. Are there any unsafe side effects? I was also wondering if you have to stay on this permanetly for the hair to stay away or if it is temporary. About how much does it cost? It would be great if you could let me know. Thank you:)
