I've gone from 315 to 242 lbs. My blood levels & cholesteral levels are good now. My periods were irregular before (I bled too often) & now they are pretty normal. I'm on glucaphage 1500mg. The hair loss & hair growth have not improved at all. My endo says that as I loose more weight the hair I've lost will grow back, but I don't really believe him. I don't see any improvement in the hair problems. I'm going to be 40 in a couple weeks (yikes) & I have a 5 year old so I've given up on ttc, so I can't help you there. I'm frustrated that loosing weight hasn't helped the hair problems with PCOS, but I'm still concentrating on continuing with the weight loss & hoping for some improvement. Good luck.
