I know losing weight is not the end all and be all of healing PCOS (as some doctors have tried to say in the past) but i keep reading articles on hirsutism and how losing (in some cases) 10 or 15 % of your body fat can help alieve this. Has anyone had this work? i know its a vicious circle with the weight IR crap, but I am wondering, if i get down to a healthy weight for me, will my period come back? will the hair problem lessen?? I keep thinking if I could just get one of my problems under control maybe it would help my body with the rest! Is this possible??? Or is it just a wait n see kind of dream??? I need a light at the end of my dreary "no period/hairy" tunnel!! Anyone??? :))
