I think, which is my opinion, the reason why you feel that way is because your body goes to a mode and it thinks that you are starving it, so it slows down you metabolism. Try to exercise, even if it is just a walk around the block, you won't believe the difference. I know because I just started this lately and let me tell you I have the most energy just from walking on my lunch break and walking when I get home at night. This has made all the difference in the world. Note: If you weight lift you will burn more calories and thus can consume a little more calories. (Haven't started this yet, but getting ready to.)
