Susan, Are you nursing? I nursed my babies back to back and it took about 1 year after I stopped nursing for the weight to come off. I was very hypoglycemic while I was nursing, but I watched my diet, exercised every day, and the weight stayed with me. Once I quit nursing I kept exercising and the weight eventually did come off, but I was very heavy for about 5 years while I was pregnant and nursing.

If you're not nursing, just remember that you just had a baby three months ago. My GYN said it can take a year or more for our bodies to level off after having a baby. Don't expect too much too soon. Eat well, exercise (think chasing the 2 yo), and enjoy your baby and - oh, yeah, remember to get sleep when you can:)
