Hello Ladies. I went away for the weekend and let my hair down for a couple days and relaxed, danced and enjoyed all the company being out and about.

Jodi in your last post about pcos and diets ect You put it simply well with all the info. As do all the ladies on here I might add.

Went to the bookstore and picked up two essintial books! One is PCOS: A Womans Guide To Dealing With Polycystic Ovary Syndrome by Colette Harris with Dr. Adam Carey and the other is Taking Charge of Your Fertility by, Tony Weschler ( the Revised Edition) Did some reading and I would recommend these to everyone that is trying to concieve and who would like to take charge of there PCOS with more information against all these doctors that do not listen or understand that this is serious stuff.

Still on the Atkins although this weekend I did splurge alittle and had some chinese...yummy but did not gain a pound from it. Starting weight with Atkins this time on monday Oct 29th was 250 and now as of sunday I am down to 237. My mood swings are regulated to what I would call normal and I am hoping that I am calculating right that Ovulation should take place between the 10 and 14 of this month and AF will appear again on schedule on the 23rd. IF not I best preggers.

I agree with Jodi on diets and low carbing. Low carbing definately works but you have to try and see what works for you. With the Atkins I feel like a new person and am not hungry like if I was to do the low/carb low fat with added whole grains. For me that is just a maintance as I have already tried it and stayed at 250 for over two months. Your body does need some carbs with the Met but watch your intake! Or you will find the scales creaping back up on you.

Take care everyone and hope that if you do not own a pcos book or the other I mentioned you will consider it.
