If you're not taking an insulin sensitizer, you should be! I would definitely ask the doctor about it. (Unless, of course, they're the same ones who told you you would never have children! They may not be the most up to date on treating this...)

You're doing the right thing, too, by following a low carb diet. That helps to lower insulin levels also and can help alleviate symptoms as well.
