still afraid of spiro

Hi ladies,

So I had my endo appointment yesterday and complained that I am still losing a lot of hair. He suggested Spiro all on his own and said that on a low dosage (2 pills a day) I shouldn't have problems with the irregular/heavy bleeding.

But what does he know - he's a great doctor but still just a man! Is the thing about low dosage not affecting bleeding true?

I haven't picked up the medicine yet because I still have questions and would love to hear from someone who actually has taken it/does take it.

If/when I do have kids, will the spiro I take now affect any male children I have in the future?

Has anyone stopped taking it? Does the hair come back or start thinning again?

Are there other side effects? I'm worried about the extra bleeding because my iron is already low and plus I'm just so clumsy I'm afraid of embarrassing myself.

Please advise.

Thanks, Amy
