HI Dona, thanks for answering. Re: the diaphram, you must have missed the last sentence of my post saying that was already ruled out. i tried one of those last winter - it seemed like a perfect solution. No hormones, no interruptions, no lack of sensation for either party, what else could I ask for?

I could ask to not be allergic to spermicide. :-) It ended up being a very nasty (smelly, painful, embarrassing) experience I don't much care to re-live... heh.

I've also been told the thing about the not being able to have an IUD if you've never had a baby (vaginal delivery...)... but I think they might have new ones out where that doesn't matter... i don't know. I'm going to ask at the end of the month. I think I'm probably just going to go back on the pill and try my best not to think about this stuff so damn much...

I said to my friend the other day (she also has absent/irreg. periods and is on the pill as a result...) how nice it would be if we could just stick our reproductive organs into cold storage and get them back when we need them... it would make things so much easier. She agreed...
