Thank you Sonnett for the info. I am going to a new doctor on Friday who is open minded and who will probably and hopefully let me experiment with glucophage. A few more questions:

WHEN do you take your glucophage? At what time of day? All at once, or broken down into parts?

Did you have high cholesterol also? If yes, did the glucophage allow the cholesterol to drop without cholesterol medication?
