ive been having laser done and i am very happy with the results thus
far.
the first time, i sobbed with pain and all the emotional issues that had
been welling up inside me came out...(my poor nurse was very patient).
one week later all hairs on face popped out. it was the greatest
feeling to be so smooth for a month. i was also happy i didnt scar...
they used a special cool glide laser and varied the frequency (im olive
skinned). i also use a bleaching cream to lighten my skin and make the
hairs show up better for the laser (look in to lustra af).
after the 3rd treatment i didnt have to go back in until 4 mos later
(some do come back esp if u dont keep up with the spiro and hormons
fluctuate unfortunately).
it's very expensive and painful for coarse dark hair i found, so i would
not waste it on bleached hair. ask your laser professional. they told
me to just shave it and wear a good make up like dermablend. it takes
me one day to heal and look less bumpy again. use ice and aloe gel. one
can go back to work the next day. u can wear a light chiffon scarf or
gentle oil free make up.
i sure hope and wish this is permanent, but even a "reduction" is
superb.
good luck.
ps: after spending $700 on the chest region.. it did not work at all
the way it did on the face for me :( i wish they'd sell a vat of vaniqa
lol ;)
