I have decided that since I absolutelty no longer want to be on the BCPs (so I say ... as my hair continues to fall out I might change my mind...) and the Met alone wasn't enough for the 3 monts before I went on the Pill, maybe I should give vitex a try for bringing on regular periods. BUT... I've been doing some reading and it seems vitex works by increasing LH and lowering FSH... which seems like exactly what someone with PCOS would not want to do! I'm so confused... anyone have any input on this one? I'm so at my wits end dealing with the PCOS... I would really like to try approaching this from a Met for IR and herbs for hormone imbalance standpoint, just to get things rolling so to speak... but everything I read contradicts something else I've read.
