saunas?From: Belinda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 31 Oct 2001 03:55:00 -0600 (CST)
I'm almost certainly not pregnant - aswell as my PCOS my husband has a chromosonal abnormality which means it's highly unlikely that we'll get prenant without help. BUT there's always that chance - I think I ovulated about a week ago. We're going on holiday next week and will have access to a hot tub, sauna, steam room. I love these things - but I know you shouldn't use them if you're pregnant. Does anyone know why? I've a feeling it's to do with blood pressure but I'm not sure. Is it a problem at a maximum of two weeks post conception? I know this isn't earth shattering or anything, but I've been so looking forward to this holiday, partly to get away from everything, and I don't want to miss out on stuff if I'm just being paranoid - but I obviously don't want to jeopordise a potential pregnancy either. thanks for any advice,
-- Belinda
