i am currently trying to low-carb to control my weight (i think we had this discussion in the diet forum!!!) and my gyne put me on provera for the year to menstruate. she suggested the possibility of meds for the hair, but in my present situation (living in africa) it wasn't ideal and more hassle than its probably worth. it may be something i try when i go back home, but i need to learn more. even now thouh, i am finding the provera isn't working. i took a dose in july and it worked like a charm, then i got a "natural" period by myself, but the last dose i took was two weeks ago and still no bleeding. what is saw palmetto and how does it work? thanks for you help! s. > >What meds, if any, are you taking?
